Despite being from different realms, all five nations shared one thing in common; the legend of Demian.
It was foretold that "the one who possesses Demian shall rule all." Then, there was the Primeval Highlands in the World of Darkness, which no person could enter. Legend had it that the "Primeval Highlands" was where Demian lay dormant.



What had been considered a mere legend became the topic of discussion after the Fractured Night incident. Word even spread that one could reach the Primeval Highlands by entering the rift that led to the World of Darkness.

The world the pirates encountered beyond the rift was dangerous, teeming with Kaos. And unlike Panthera, where the sun never set, the "World of Darkness" was a place that was always pitch black.

Regardless, the World of Darkness was a place of opportunity for pirates, as more treasures and ooparts were rewarded to those who risked it all. The pirates fearlessly plunged themselves into this dark realm, and many who entered perished at the hands of the Kaos.
